Sorry, not for sale ;-) (took me way too long to make it, so the price would be horrendously)
I used brass and copper to make it.
(Isn't gilding metal technically brass?)

guilding meatal is made by combining copper, brass and nickel-silver. all.

If you're talking of the very thin, brass-coloured metal-sheets that are used to cover the surface of the object underneath, then it only consists of copper and zinc (That's what brass actually is - a Copper-zinc-alloy). If you have something else in mind, then please tell me where I can find such a thing... I'm never to old to learn something ;-)

i mean guilding meatal. as i described, it is made from copper brass and nickel silver. it has a rather odd ting to it with age, but when first polished is slyghtly pinkish. i've made jewlery out of it my self, only i dont know where to get it. it was given to me. you might try a jewlery suppliers where one might get say silver sheeting and ask about it. havent got any other infomation on it sorry. just know what it's made of and what it looks like.

the person who gave it to me has done gold and silver smithing masters respectivly at uni if that helps.

can it be used as a string like puppet?

Steam-HeART Featured By Owner Jan 12, 2012
No. As it is an Incense-burner, the chains are for swinging it (like they do in the churches).

I was thinking, use the chains as puppet strings & have them move the legs. :iconspiderplz:

Sure, you could do that too if you want. But primary the chains are for swinging it.
